Anthony Faraco received some startling news earlier this year when he was diagnosed with lymphoma.

“I was lucky enough to catch it early and after a few months of treatment was in remission,” said the associate at Bouvier Law LLP.

A West Seneca native who lives on Grand Island, he worked in Rochester for a few years before joining the Buffalo firm. His practice areas include criminal, civil defense, toxic torts and contracts. He also serves civil plaintiffs.

“My passion is with criminal defense, though,” he said.

While in law school, he had an internship with the city of Buffalo’s corporation counsel.

Knowing that his life and career could have been cut short by cancer drives him every day to achieve.

“The idea that life can come to an absolute halt at any time really motivates me,” he said.

In his downtime he enjoys reading, skiing and spending time with his girlfriend and dogs. He volunteers for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
