Ms. Thore joined the firm’s general practice department in 2010 with a primary focus on Matrimonial and Family Law including custody, visitation, support, paternity and post matrimonial proceedings. As a member of the Fourth Department’s panel of Attorneys for Children she also represents children in Family Court and Supreme Court. In addition to a concentration in Family Law, Ms. Thore has experience in Real Estate where she has represented lenders, purchasers and sellers. As examining counsel for Chicago Title Insurance Company Ms. Thore is able to offer her real estate clients and added benefit of completing a title examination of the premises, issuing the title commitment and final policy.
Ms. Thore also has experience in drafting Last Will and Testaments, Trusts, Health Care Proxys, Powers of Attorney. She routinely appears in Surrogate’s Court regarding the probate or administration of Estates including contested matters.
A lifelong resident of Western New York, Ms. Thore attended Miami University, Oxford Ohio and the State University of New York at Buffalo for her undergraduate degree and the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.
